This month a crafted up some fun shirts for Alexis and Mikayla. I used t-shirts I had in my stash and fabric from the banner we made for Mikayla. Just invested some time....

Since I'm used to photographing lots of blue eyes, it was fun to zoom in on these handsome eyes....

Some February Crafts....

Random assortment of some projects that I worked on earlier this month....

I knew I wanted to create a layout to display the little kids valentine's from school. I decided on sewing some pockets on a layout. I would like to add two photos on each layout on the bottom right corner, but didn't get them ordered yet.....
This is Mikayla's without the valentine's...
and Alexis' with the valentine's added....

my mother wanted to get some photo albums and use them to hold her recipes. she asked me to spice them up....so I found two packs of two albums in the clearance section at Target for only $2.50 each pack!!!...picked up the small spatulas {2 pack} for a $1 at Michael's....and created.....one for me...

Mikayla's First School Dance

Mikayla's elementary school hosted a dance for the little kids to celebrate Valentine's this year. It was a very big hit, as we had to stand outside for 30 - 40 minutes just to get in... it was worse than a concert! lol

Mikayla likes to dance but she needs a little warming up....she doesn't just JUMP in....very much like her mother in this department....I usually need a little "liquid courage" before I start dancing.
So she started the night right here....
then she started doing some dancing moves on the side....

then Alexis hung out with her buddy, Gianna, and they put on some dancing moves...

look at that spin....you go girl!

she fits the foot stomping part perfectly with those cowgirl boots....love it....

Looking forward to seeing them put on their dancing shoes again this Saturday at a youth dance!

February {Family} Challenge update

And we continue with our February challenge for Mikayla...to wear pink or red every day for the month of February without repeating...
Day 5....daddy left her get dressed, since I had to start work early this particular day...but it did have pink in it so it counts!

day 10....this was picture day at school....and yes she was ALOT chilly that day

day 11...one of my favorities....I just love this dress with a pair of jeans....

day 14...Happy Valentine's Day...with some photo editing....this is the shirt I made for Mikayla to celebrate Valentine's Day...

day 15...I'm not sure why, but everytime I see this photo....it reminds me of my cousin Lora, I think it's the big smile.....love it!
