American Crafts with dimension challenge

A recent challenge on American Crafts blog is to use dimension and American Crafts product on a layout or card. Here is my creation....

I created a paper rolled sun with paper bead "rays" for my main dimensional ingredient. The fun circle flowers are distressed and add just a slight dimension.
All the pattern paper is American Crafts product except the background paper which is Sonburn. The title stickers are Thickers from American Crafts. Inkadinkado Stamps were used for the top right corner to add the date.

A Challenge and some photos

So the most recent challenge at ....
I thought this was a cute translation of the sketch...
Then I came across a class photo from Mikayla's kindergarten class on my desk. I just had to go the traditional route with the color theme. The pull tab includes the list of all the children, the year, and teachers names.
And this past Sunday we were treated with a solo from Casey at church. We have no idea where she inherited the voice to sing or the nerve to sing a solo in front of so many people. And she's only 10! (almost 11 - less than a month to go) She did a wonderful job and the song was very appropriate for her.
Joe headed back to work after church and me and the girls headed to the playground to have a photo session. It was good practice for me and I took a TON of pictures! I'll share a few...
Sam really looked like she was 16 in this outfit. She looked very mature (she of course, hated it!) She was a good sport about posing for me, but she still has the fake smile going on.
Casey's a ham! LOL She was having fun too!
Alexis just loved playing on the play equipment!
Mikayla was a little grumpy...her new shoes were rubbing her heels.
And this is why your model should not have gum in her mouth....
Alexis...
Love this shot of Sam... I think it's fun!
And this cracks me up!
We were having fun!

I can't wait to order some of these pics and get them on our walls!

Recent projects

Some recent creations that use Inkadinkado stamps. You can find all these projects with complete supply lists and instructions on the Michaels website (www.michaels.com) . Just type in "inkadinkado" on the top search bar and select Project ideas to find them all.

This card was made as a sympathy idea. These are hard cards to make, because I want them to really be personal and comforting. I love to use these tree stamp on a sympathy card, I just think it is pretty and has a spiritual feel to it.
I love to make these curled paper flowers and doesn't it look great with this K&Company design paper!
This was my first shadow box....and I have more ideas to make more in the near future! I love how it turned out!
And a fun layout with lots of stamps used.
This was created with a Father's Day card in mind. What card player father wouldn't love this fun card? All of these poker style stamps are from one set.
