Halloween Theme Paper Kit

Only a few days to go....till the spooky, thrilling Halloween night! How about some Halloween theme layouts from an October Halloween theme kit from Scraptacular Scrapbooking Store.
Love this orange background...
The white fence works great with this layout....
And even though it is Halloween theme paper....I changed it up and did an everyday moment layout.

First Newborn Photo session

This is definitely harder than it looks. This is my first newborn photo session {for someone else's baby...with my own child, time is not of the essence}.
This was my favorite...Mr. L was catching some ZZzzz's....isn't he a cutie! And another sleepy photo.....

Early in the session, Mr. L was wide awake. He looks so tiny {I don't remember my girls this tiny}.

I was happy to get some shine on those beautiful eyes!
So glad I got the practice with such a handsome little guy.

An October Update...

I've been a slacking blogger again {sorry}. Our month has been a busy one and I'm finally getting a minute to get caught up. {And the month is not over yet!}
Casey's field hockey club, LAA, hosted a "playdate". Here she is in action.
An online crop event gave me some new challenges to work with.
A two page layout...
Three of Three.... {three pattern papers, three photos, three pumpkins}
Recipe...natural colors, add some fruit, one photo, and an envelope
An Artist Trading card....believe it or not, this is my very first one...this will be for a layout for Alexis, 2025...that's crazy
Mikayla made one too....{not bad for a six year old}
use school colors {blue and gold}....
Use as many photos as possible....{I used the index photos, they are along the bottom}
Mikayla almost had a goal, lol....She received that pass, turned...and there was the yellow goalie, lol!
Samantha playing some junior high field hockey....
Casey had another hockey tournament....This picture just cracks me up....she looks like a leprechaun! LOL
We celebrated Alexis' 4th birthday with family, friends, and some of her preschool buddies. It was a gorgeous day out...so we partied in the back yard. Alexis with her cheesy grin!
Blowing out the candles....this took awhile, lol
Yes, you are looking at it correctly...we bought her a vacuum cleaner! Her preschool has a toy dirt devil vacuum and Alexis added a toy vacuum to her birthday wish list. Well, I figured if I'm going to spend $20 on a toy vacuum why not buy a working vacuum and put my 4 year old to work. She LOVES it and asks to vacuum almost every other day! lol
More to come!

What's happening in our lives....

Sports, Sports, and more Sports....
I have pictures from all the kids playing sports, of course, but only two of the kids on this post.
Sam has moved up to the Junior High school this year and now plays for the school Field Hockey team. She enjoys playing and we are waiting for her to really get passionate about it, we really feel she has talent in hockey, just doesn't show the drive {yet}.
The teams first game was on a Turf field at Gov. Mifflin...
She was a little outnumbered, but she got the pass off.
And then we move to U8 soccer.....This is so fun to watch! Mikayla is playing for the red team this year and she's making more on an effort. She's running more and touching the play just a little bit more, lol!

She almost had a score right before this shot....but just a little to the left.

Love to be a soccer mom!
