layouts, butterflies, and a funny

Recently on Studio Calico they issued a sketch challenge. I finished mine {see below} but didn't get it posted to their sight. This is one of my all time favorite photos of Alexis.
Another challenge I seen but did not entire my layout in time was to use some yellow.
This Friday marks the 100th day of school for our kiddos. Mikayla's homework this week was to decorate this strip of paper with 100 things (cereal, stickers, etc.) whatever the child would like. Originally she wanted flowers, but I talked her into this butterfly punch. She punched out all the butterflies and I helped her glue them on. She was really happy with it in the end too!
Here's a closer shot.
I very close friend of mine likes to pick on me and my addiction to scrapbooking and crafting {he also likes to tease my husband since I drug him to the CKC in Valley Forge the last two years too}. He told me he had never really heard about scrapbooking till he met me and now he's seeing it mentioned a lot more....including in the Sunday comics.

loving that bunting! It really brightens up the layouts. I adore the sun in the sunglasses layout as well! Wow a hundred days in - and we are on day 7!!!
